As she searches for the way out, she crosses paths with a mysterious individual who reveals to her that she’s been cursed. In order to break the curse, she needs to explore the streets of her town at night to seek out her lost memories. However, malevolent ghosts lurk within the shadows, and the girl must avoid them by running, hiding, and shutting her eyes if she hopes to survive long enough to break her curse. Yomawari: Night Alone A young girl is walking her dog Poro around town at dusk when a tragic accident forces her to return home with only Poro's leash in hand. The girl's sister commands her to stay home while she goes out into the night to search for the dog. Time passes. Growing impatient, the girl decides to search for her missing sister and dog herself. But when she steps foot outside, she realizes that this is not the same town. The darkness has made the town unfamiliar, and she appears to be utterly alone...save for the spirits that stalk her. The girl must hide from, outsmart, or outrun the hunting spirits while she searches for clues to find her loved ones. Yomawari: Midnight Shadows As summer vacation ends, two young girls visit a mountain clearing to watch the evening fireworks. As night falls and the fireworks end, their hometown becomes enveloped in darkness. On their journey home, something lunges from the shadows to attack, and the two girls find themselves lost in the dark. Separated and afraid, the girls must brace themselves for the terrors of the night, and face the darkness to find each other and make their way home. Hide behind bushes and signs as enemies approach you, and use items you find in the woods and in town to solve puzzles and distract ghouls. Then, discover notes and mysterious writings that may lead to something more haunting than you can imagine...
