The museum director has always been the sole keeper of the vault's key, and there has never been a reported loss. The vault is constructed with reinforced concrete and covered with tempered glass on top. It is equipped with infrared security and two surveillance cameras. The "Luo Shen Fu" painting was displayed in the central display case, which was also locked.
