Description
You're not a hero. You're just a person who lost their memory, in a cold, unforgiving world. Will you leave any legacy before dying, or die in poverty and pain?Unravel the mystery of your past through various hints, or disregard it and focus solely on survival. Explore the post-apocalyptic town and its surroundings, striving to understand both the people and the world, or pursue your own interests single-mindedly.Descend into insanity and slowly perish, or amass wealth and perhaps even establish a small business. Navigate the delicate balance of power among factions; while you may influence them to some extent if successful, the classical approach of eliminating all enemies isn't viable. Fighting humans is rarely a possible solution; and even hunting rats can pose a challenge, with death always looming. Who are you, and do you even care about the answer? Features Retro pixel art graphics, Simple (but harsh) text-based combat Unique post-apocalyptic setting Nonlinear gameplay with meaningful choices and many endings Resource (and money!) management Companions with real personalities Open world: freedom of exploration in the post-apocalyptic town and around it Widespread grinding poverty (semi-intact homes, electricity, ammunition, or cars are present in the world but reserved for influential or rich) Civilization (money and business still exist!) Savagery (with various unpleasant acts mentioned by the plot) Dying (from stupidity, hunger, thirst, insanity, rats, bandits, and other causes) The pathetic nature of man Dark humor Factions with real goals (including, among others, a profitable corporation and an agricultural commune) Owning a post-apocalyptic farmhouse (if you want to buy it and manage to do so before dying, that is!) Ability to earn money through trade, Ability to hunt rats and to sell rat meat & hides Many rats looking at you with disgust in their eyes Friendly pet rat (if you want to buy a rat!)
