Description
In Osiris Quest, step into the sandals of Horus, the son of Osiris, and take on a journey inspired by the timeless mythology of ancient Egypt. After the evil Seth betrays and murders Osiris, scattering his remains across the land, it falls upon you to retrieve them and restore balance to the kingdom. Traverse vast landscapes filled with treacherous traps, dangerous enemies, and mythical creatures as you reclaim Osiris’s body parts and prepare to challenge Seth for the throne of Egypt. Classic 2D precision platforming action Inspired by the iconic platformers of the Sega Genesis and SNES eras, Osiris Quest blends classic mechanics with modern design. Enjoy tight controls, beautifully hand-crafted pixel art, and an original 16-bit music score that evokes the nostalgia of retro gaming. Each level presents unique challenges and hazards drawn from Egyptian mythology, offering players a mix of exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. Journey across diverse Egyptian landscapes filled with enemies, traps, and secrets Developed solo over the course of a year, Osiris Quest was lovingly built in the Godot engine, with every pixel and sound composed from scratch. It’s a tribute to the games that shaped a generation, offering both seasoned gamers and newcomers a chance to experience the thrill of old-school platforming with a fresh twist.
